We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Latin America (LATAM) Human Resources (HR) team as the Brazil HR Business Partner supporting all AWS businesses in the Country. In this role, the HRBP Leader will be responsible for driving critical strategic and transformation initiatives.We are looking for a Brazil HRBP Leader with excellent strategic management skills who can think big, lead end-to-end process execution, cultivate collaborative relationships at all levels and push the HR function to keep evolving and embark on a continuous improvement journey. Our goal is to build a strong HR organization and to design and implement people programs and practices that are scalable for our growing and complex business in Brazil. The HRBP Leader is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides programmatic leadership to our LATAM HR team, HR Centers of Excellence, Employee Services and Payroll organizations, but also partners extremely close with business stakeholders.Key job responsibilitiesSuccessful candidates will demonstrate:Ability to communicate effectively and facilitate executive level discussions and decisions.Ability to lead across a complex regional organization with matrixed teams reporting in to you.The ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures for continuous improvement.A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the "pulse" of the organization and look around corners.Experience with rapid and complex changing work environments.Being an enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment.A strong bias for action and sense of urgency, being comfortable working in an environment that demands clear deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions.The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and coordinate work through others.Must be able to interface at all levels of the organization.Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS• Bachelor's degree• 10+ years of experience in program/project management and/or HR generalist-business partner role and/or operations management• Experience leading cross-functional projects and building program plans (setting objectives, milestones, managing stakeholders, and tracking metrics).• Fluency in English as well as Spanish or Portuguese, both verbally and written communication, including report writing skills• Strong executive communication, writing, and facilitation skillsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS• Master's Degree or MBA in HR preferred• Experience within a complex matrixed organization• Self-starter who can work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.• Strong background in building and executing in a highly ambiguous, flexible environment.• Strong data-driven, business writing skills.• Experience in HR operations or Shared Services organizations, managing global stakeholders.• Experience identifying and resolving issues independently, will take initiative even under unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances.• Strong bias for action and "get stuff done" attitude.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
