We offer a range of fluid handling solutions across the biotech and industrial markets.This role will focus on:As an HR Business Partner for Watson-Marlow's Americas Division, focusing on Latin America, you will be a key member of our HR team. Reporting directly to the Head of HR – Americas Division, your role is to shape, develop, and implement people strategies and solutions for our teams in Latin America. Collaborating with leaders, stakeholders, and HR colleagues, you will create environments that foster success, ensuring alignment with WMFTS's global strategy and core values. Your guidance and support to Senior Leaders and management teams will be crucial in addressing strategic and operational needs while upholding HR best practices.What you'll be doing:Manage succession planning and leadership development.Ensure adherence to local labor laws and employment standards.Implement and monitor HR metrics to assess organizational health.Lead initiatives to ensure the health, wellbeing, and safety of Latin American colleagues.Collaborate with regional leaders to enhance employee engagement and wellbeing.Oversee site closures and manage operational transitions in Latin America.Facilitate acquisitions, focusing on team and culture integration.Consult with legal counsel for complex people-related issues.Provide change management expertise and organizational development support.Drive excellence in employee relations and performance management.Develop and implement HR processes in line with external trends and legal requirements.Represent Watson-Marlow Latin America at relevant events.Act as a coach and mentor to the Latin American Leadership Team, advising senior leaders.Ensure the integrity of all HR deliverables.Who you'll be working with:Americas Division Leadership Team: Collaborate closely with senior leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives and manage organizational transitions.Regional Directors and General Managers: Partner with these key figures to implement people strategies and manage operational changes, including site closures and acquisitions.Legal Counsel: Regularly consult to address complex legal and compliance issues related to employment and organizational policies.Global HR Team: Work with the global HR team to ensure regional alignment with global initiatives, especially in areas like employee relations, performance management, and talent development.Latin American Employees: Engage with a diverse workforce to drive employee engagement, wellbeing, and development initiatives.External Partners and Vendors: Collaborate with external entities for recruitment, training, and development programs.Community and Industry Stakeholders: Represent Watson-Marlow at various events and meetings, building relationships that support the organization and its workforce.To be successful in this role, you will need:Strong HR Generalist Skills and Employment Law Knowledge: Proficient in Latin American employment legislation and various HR functions.Experience in Complex ER Cases and Change Management: Skilled in managing intricate employee relations issues and leading change initiatives in a Latin American context.Effective Collaboration and Communication Skills: Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels and communicate complex ideas clearly.Results-Oriented and Detail-Focused: Demonstrates a strong focus on achieving outcomes with meticulous attention to detail, even under pressure.Development and Coaching Skills: Capable of challenging and developing others, with a strong background in people development.Educational and Professional Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience, and certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR.Extensive HR Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in human resources, with a strong emphasis on strategic HR management. This includes a proven track record in handling complex employee relations, leading organizational change, developing talent management strategies, and implementing HR initiatives that align with business objectives. Experience in a leadership role within HR, demonstrating the ability to manage cross-functional and multicultural teams, is highly desirable. International HR experience, particularly in the respective region (North America or Latin America), is an asset, providing insights into local employment laws, cultural nuances, and business practices.Language Proficiency: Proficiency in Spanish is required.
