Requirements: - Working knowledge ofmultiple human resource disciplines including talent development, employeerelations, diversity/inclusion, talent acquisition, benefits/compensationpractices, performance management, and federal and state employment laws. - Sound business acumen,and the ability to establish credibility, trust and partnership at all levelsof the organization. - Independence whileworking effectively and collaboratively within teams. - Demonstratedexperience managing and delivering long and short term initiatives throughproject plans for successful closure. - Creative thinking andproblem solving, showing innovation and ability with organizational diagnosisand solution generation. - Excellentorganization, time-management, and task-management skills to maneuver in a veryfast paced and diverse environment. - Superior communicationtechniques. - Ability to work in amatrix environment. - Willingness to traveldomestically. - Advanced proficiencyin english (read/write/ speak). - Bachelor's degree in arelated field of study required. - Experience inprogressively responsible human resource roles. - Experience in asupervisory role. Responsibilities: - Enhances theorganization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluatingemployee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices. - Maintains theorganizational structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions forall positions.
- Supports organizationstaff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program;counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exitinterviews; and recommending changes.
- Prepares employees forassignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
- Manages a pay plan byconducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations;monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; and recommending, planning,and implementing pay structure revisions.
- Manages payroll,maintaining payroll information, withholding and ensuring taxes are paid,processing voluntary and involuntary deductions, validating payroll changes,and preparing special reports for management.
- Ensures planning,monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers tocoach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences withemployees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; and counseling employeesand supervisors.
- Implements employeebenefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefitneeds and trends; recommending benefit programs to management; directing theprocessing of benefit claims; obtaining and evaluating benefit contract bids;awarding benefit contracts; and designing and conducting educational programson benefit programs.
- Ensures legalcompliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal andstate requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records, andrepresenting the organization at hearings.
- Enforces managementguidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies andprocedures.
- Ensures HRIS system isaccurate with current data.
- Retains historicalhuman resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keepingpast and current records.
- Cultivatesprofessional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops,reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, andparticipating in professional societies.
- Manages human resourcestaff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Contributes to teameffort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Additionalresponsibilities may be assigned.
