This role reports into the Regional IET HR Leader for LATAM. The job holder is accountable for providing Human Resources employee support excellence within the Americas for IET businesses and collaborates with other Regional HR Teams, HR Centers of Excellence (Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Labor Relations, Service Delivery, Payroll, etc.) as well as other non-HR functional teams as needed.Partner with the bestAs a Regional HR Partner, you will be responsible for:Labour and Employee Relations: Collaborate with Labour and Employee Relations Centre of Excellence (L&ER CoE) to implement Labor & Employee Relations policies and framework for a geographic and business area. Ensure regulatory compliance, including (but not limited to):Disciplinary/Grievances Actions: Receive employee complaints, arrange stakeholders for investigations, determine mitigation actions, and action together with the L&ER CoE.Performance Management Partnership: Coach managers through delivering and administering the PIP, and progressing mediation actions if PIP is unsuccessfully met. Collaborate with L&ER CoE as needed.RIF/ Restructuring/ M&A Exits: Provide guidance and expertise to managers seeking to terminate employment, advise on risk, create required documentation, facilitate legal reviews when needed, and support management to execute termination.Labour Point of Contact: Be a focal point for CBA liaison and provide negotiations input together with Business/Regional Leaders; coordinate with TR as required.Talent and Operational Excellence: Focus on first-class customer service as part of the Region Leadership Team and partner with the business to shape the people infrastructure and culture needed to attract, engage, and retain talent.Regional IET HR partnership: Participate in key management discussions and provide HR input for strategic business/regional projects, long-term planning, and budgeting processes.COE partnership: Work alongside other Centres of Excellence to support Baker Hughes wide HR initiatives and projects.Human Capital & Technology partnership: Provide recommendations for regional HR policies in line with local legislations and collaboration with relevant COEs.To be successful in this role you will:Have a bachelor's/Master's degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma.Have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an HR Generalist within the LATAM region.Be able to balance between being 'hands-on' and 'strategic'.Have hands-on experience in HR Partnership within the LATAM region.Have previous experience handling Unions and Industrial Relations, at least 3 years.Be talent obsessed - passionate about bringing the best out of people.Manage multiple stakeholders with strong people skills.Have commercial acumen, analytical ability, and data usage to provide business insights.Lead projects/process improvement/policy formulation.Have good communication skills, both verbal and written.Be client-focused and able to build relationships with business leaders.Be experienced working in a matrix environment, with agility to attend to multiple demands.Demonstrate a good understanding of digital technology.Be able to influence others.Have effective problem identification and solution skills.Have proven analytical and organizational ability.Willingness to travel.Be fluent in English and Portuguese.Desired CharacteristicsStrong oral and written communication skills.Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.Work in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work is different for everyone too.
