This is an opportunity to work with the customer's network, infrastructure and application developers and operators, a team of world class talent at the forefront of innovation and technology. As a Implementation System Engineer, you'll be responsible for translating business service requirements into technical solutions and delivery plans. You will leverage the best-in-class industry solutions to build our linear, streaming and application infrastructure. You will find yourself responsible for solving challenging problems relating to scale, security and reliability. Responsibilities: • Deploy and Maintain: Linux and Windows VMs and physical servers using in-house automation tools and templates/images • Troubleshooting and Support: Identify and resolve system issues reported thru Alarming and/or Ticketing, and provide technical support to users and stakeholders as needed • Ticket Management: Manage workload via Jira ticketing system • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations and processes • Work closely with cross-functional teams Mandatory Skills Description: • VMware and VCF: Strong 5 Years of hands-on experience with VMware environments and VMware Cloud Foundation as well as the Aria/vRealize Suite with emphasis on Aria Automation • Red Hat Satellite: Strong understanding of system builds and management with Red Hat Satellite for Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments • Ansible: Must have extensive experience in using Ansible for automation, configuration management, and orchestration • PowerShell: Should be comfortable working with PowerShell for automation tasks, particularly in managing Windows and VMware environments • Windows and Linux experience working in mixed environments. • Familiarity with IP networking technologies (Addressing, subnetting, etc) • Core infrastructure components (IPAM, DNS, DHCP) • Experience with Linux networking (TCP/IP configuration, bonding) • Basic understanding of network switches, load balancers, firewalls • Candidates should possess excellent written/verbal communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills and be able to communicate and work with U.S. based teams during core U.S based work hours • Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders • Demonstrated abilities in managing timelines
