The role supports continuous improvement and leads implementation of updates/refresh of global/regional category strategy in collaboration with the site/country/category teams. The role is also responsible for managing supplier relationships, contracting, market research, category and internal business data and information. The Procurement Manager provides strategic sourcing expertise, supplier market intelligence, financial productivity and mitigation of risk. Ensures the delivery of measurable value for Sandoz, through alignment of business requirements, contributes to the organisation's financial health competitive advantage.Job DescriptionResponsibilities:Drive/Implement Brazil strategic goals from overall Procurement strategyAccountable for productivity/cost efficiency targets in Commercial and Corporate in Brazil.Accountable for key compliance metrics such as PO-compliance, process compliance in Commercial and Corporate. Support centrally led processes (e.g., SFCM, TPRM).Successful implementation of global, regional and local BR projects across Commercial and Corporate functions, ensuring key stakeholder alignment and business relevance.Manage quality of the Brazil end-to-end Procurement process including compliance to policies, strategies and processes. Support seamless integration of capability centers into the end-to-end process.Manage relationships with (senior and executive) stakeholdersServe as key contact for stakeholders in the Commercial and Corporate.Build effective relationships of mutual trust and understanding.Transmit relevant business insights to their local teams, global/regional Category Management as well as sourcing managers and buyers.Manage supplier relationshipsExecuting the Source-to-Contract process including respective strategies, approaches and methods: Preparing and conducting fact-based negotiations. Adapting tactics from a broad portfolio of negotiation strategies to achieve results that support business and Procurement objectives.Manage and build effective relationships with key suppliers in their area of responsibility to drive value for Sandoz through cost effectiveness and access to innovation.Ensure effective local implementation of global supplier strategies (e.g. implementation of strategic suppliers, contracting principles, execution of global/regional contracts).Manage local supplier landscape in Commercial and Corporate in line with business strategies & global Procurement goals and strategies (e.g. payment terms, manage tail spend, local supplier management process).Ensure effective communicationEnsure effective communication between the different Procurement functions, such as Operations, Capability centers, global/regional category management, compliance.Serve as the key contact for stakeholders in Commercial and Corporate in Brazil and ensure that business needs/requirements are reflected in procurement activities.Contracting activitiesContract preparation, review and archiving.Full terms and conditions or contractual terms negotiation.Post signature contract management: Monitoring and identification of expiring contracts, initiating process for contract extension or competitive bidding.Termination strategy definition and contracts termination management.Suppliers' performance review coordination for key local suppliers.Requirements:Complete higher education. MBA or Specialization is desirable.Fluent English. Portuguese is mandatory.Solid experience leading indirect procurement.
