The NCHC Global Tax Group is recruiting for an** Indirect Tax Junior Analyst (NCHC)**.
This position is based in Brazil and will report to the Indirect Manager.
**Qualifications** Responsibilities**:
- Prepare national, local, and other miscellaneous indirect tax returns including Excise, Special Consumption, Withholding, Capital Gain, Turnover, and other municipal returns
- Prepare Annex filings (e.g., 1146, 1246, 2181, 2183)
- Prepare analysis of invoice issuance, receipts, and cancelations
- Assist with maintaining and enhancing local tax processes
- Assist with maintaining tax calendar and tracking of tax inquiries
- Assist with national and local tax audits and inquiries
- Provide support for other corporate tax projects and processes as needed.
- Perform ongoing review and research of tax laws, court decisions, and administrative pronouncements to ensure the company's compliance and find opportunities for tax savings
- Assists with special projects to implement tax strategies and/or document and support current tax position
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned and ad hoc
**Requirments**:
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree with a preference in Finance, Accounting, Tax, or any related business is required
- A minimum of 3 years of experience is required
- Strong financial analytical abilities (data, fact patterns, external tax/legal frameworks) and accounting are required
- Advanced Excel skills and the ability to utilize other technology resources is required
- Excellent business partnering and communication skills and strong influencing and collaboration skills across sectors, functions, and regions is required
- Ability to execute innovative solutions to meet business needs and to handle risk in a quickly changing external environment is required
- Fluency in English is preferred
