You will get the opportunity to contribute to Value Creation and have a positive impact on Group's EBITDA, Cash Generation, Solvay Culture seeding and Supplier Development.You will be accountable for:Oversee purchasing categories and align Solvay's needs with market opportunities, including market research and strategy development.Build, negotiate, and manage contracts, price agreements, and supplier relationships, while setting and monitoring supplier KPIs.Ensure health, safety, environment, quality, and delivery standards for the portfolio and drive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) improvements.Communicate contract or market changes to stakeholders and coordinate category strategies with Procurement Managers and Global Buyers.Participate in cross-functional, multicultural project teams and promote ethical practices, local compliance, and culture development within the supplier panel.We offer a permanent contract based on hybrid working mode, typical week is 3 days at sites, two days remote.
The main office is at Solvay Paulinia Industrial site and travel up to 30% (between industrial sites in Brazil)About youRelevant education degree or equivalent in Production Engineering, Other Engineering or Business Administration with experience in technical equipment & services.Relevant work experience in Chemical, Petrochemical, Oil&Gas, Mining or Automotive.Competencies:8–10 years of procurement experience in industrial settings, particularly in OPEX and CAPEX within the chemical industry, with a strong technical background.Skilled in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and contract negotiation, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Fluent in English, basic Spanish, and proficient in Google Tools, MS Office and SAP; adaptable to fast-paced, dynamic environments.Behaviors:Pragmatic and results-oriented, with strong logical and analytical thinking skills.Proactive and capable of working collaboratively in cross-functional, matrix teams.Focused on achieving outcomes effectively and efficiently.About the pay and benefitsAttractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role.
While the Brazil base pay reasonably expected for this role is BRL 132.000,00 to 165.000,00 (Base Annual Salary with 30% Periculosity Included) , your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience.
