United World Telecom is seeking a dynamic IT professional with strong Infrastructure and DevOps experience. You will join our existing IT Team and use your skills to enhance our network, security and collaboration tools.
Main Responsibilities Implement and lead DevOps in the organizationPlan and execute backup and disaster recovery of all critical systemsEnhance infrastructure security and help preparing for GDPR complianceOrganize and maintain GitHub and implement CI/CD Maintain and set up servers as well as the overall network architectureSet up/maintain Kubernetes clusters with Apache, .NET, WordPress, etc.Set up/maintain Grafana for server performance monitoringSet up/maintain GitHub migration for MSSQLMigrate parts of the legacy system to the cloudManage cloud servers (AWS, Google Cloud or Azure) and optimize costEnsure observability, reliability and up time of our servicesSupport and standardize the work of other developersWork together with internal clients and developers to scope and propose new features Required Skills & Experience Fluency in EnglishAssociate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience requiredMinimum 5 years of experience with servers and network architectureExcellent time managementStrong communication skillsMust be a team player Differential skills (nice to have) Manage MS SQL databases with large volume of dataAsterisk knowledge and/or experienceDebug, understand and improve existing stored procedures, functions, triggers and JobsCreate and maintain database keys and indexesImprove queries speed and performanceImprove overall database architectureMonitor overall health of the database and manage backups to prevent problems
