United World Telecom is seeking a dynamic IT professional with strong Infrastructure and DevOps experience.
You will join our existing IT Team and use your skills to enhance our network, security and collaboration tools.
Main Responsibilities Implement and lead DevOps in the organization Plan and execute backup and disaster recovery of all critical systems Enhance infrastructure security and help preparing for GDPR compliance Organize and maintain GitHub and implement CI/CD Maintain and set up servers as well as the overall network architecture Set up/maintain Kubernetes clusters with Apache, .NET, WordPress, etc.
Set up/maintain Grafana for server performance monitoring Set up/maintain GitHub migration for MSSQL Migrate parts of the legacy system to the cloud Manage cloud servers (AWS, Google Cloud or Azure) and optimize cost Ensure observability, reliability and up time of our services Support and standardize the work of other developers Work together with internal clients and developers to scope and propose new features Required Skills & Experience Fluency in English Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required Minimum 5 years of experience with servers and network architecture Excellent time management Strong communication skills Must be a team player Differential skills (nice to have) Manage MS SQL databases with large volume of data Asterisk knowledge and/or experience Debug, understand and improve existing stored procedures, functions, triggers and Jobs Create and maintain database keys and indexes Improve queries speed and performance Improve overall database architecture Monitor overall health of the database and manage backups to prevent problems
