Intellectual Property Paralegal

Patent Paralegal LegalSight is an exciting legal services firm at the crossroads of global innovation. Our company provides intellectual property-related legal services for clients around the world. Our team specializes in products, software, and services to assist with patent and trademark application processes, including filing, renewals, and translations. In this role, you will be responsible for: Preparing all documents required in connection with EP, PCT and foreign applications. Proactively initiating the preparation of responses to official communications and notifications. Coordinating filings of EP/international and foreign patent applications and related correspondence from filing to issuance of grant. Monitoring all assigned cases and proactively ensuring that all related deadlines are met in a timely manner. Essential skills and experience required: At least 1-2 years of experience as a patent paralegal in either a law firm or corporate setting. Experience filing EP, PCT and foreign patent applications. Strong organization skills. Significant experience managing complex projects. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Successful track record of successful collaboration with diverse stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Strong experience implementing translation tools into existing workflows. Comfort working with CAT tools (memoQ fluency a plus) and various Machine Translation engines. Ability to define processes and standards for translation and quality assurance. Skilled at training internal and external users in MTPE & TM workflows. Skilled at vendor recruitment and negotiations.
