About the role
As an Intermediate to Senior Frontend Engineer at Fingermark, you'll play a pivotal role in advancing the development and enhancement of the SuperSonic kiosk application, a globally utilised solution that transforms user experiences across the hospitality industry.
In this key position, you will be at the forefront of our cutting-edge kiosk technology, ensuring seamless functionality, optimal performance, and an intuitive user interface. Leveraging your deep expertise in front-end technologies, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate, iterate, and deliver world-class solutions.
Your contributions will directly impact the success of SuperSonic in providing an unparalleled interactive experience for users around the world, reinforcing our commitment to excellence and technological leadership in the kiosk industry.
Ideally, you will have:
6+ years of commercial experience designing and implementing web solutions in React.js, React, Native and Typescript
Must have knowledge of ReactJS
Expertise with secure, scalable and extensible architecture patterns
Expertise writing unit tests using Jest and helping the QA team define testing acceptance criteria
Experience with Android SDK or Chrome OS Runtime (advantageous)
Experience with Scrum methodology as well as tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, Draw.io
Strong experience with Service Workers APIs, Axios, Redux, Redux Sagas, Recoil, Progressive Web apps
Strong experience with monitoring tools such as New Relic and Sentry
Very strong technical documentation skills
Excellent communication skills: both written and verbal
Self-starter, highly collaborative, gets good things done fast
Someone who is pragmatic and gets along with the technical and non-technical staff
Very detailed and can work autonomously, well versed in remote engineering responsibilities
Strong time-management skills
A relevant tertiary qualification
