Intern - Structured Finance - BrazilStructured Finance is currently seeking an Intern based out of our São Paulo office.The LatAm Structured Finance team is looking to fill an Intern position.
There are currently 10 analysts in the team which rates Structured Finance transactions across four main asset classes: Asset Backed Securities, Residential Mortgage Backed Securities, Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities, and Structured Credit.What We Offer:An opportunity to develop both knowledge and technical expertise across multiple jurisdictions and sectors, especially in Structured Finance.Get involved with Fitch's tools, criteria, and analysis through different asset classes.Have access to a number of market participants, from securitization companies to investors and arrangers.To be part of an excellent and supportive team of analysts.We'll Count on You To:Assist in the surveillance process of the rated transactions.Assist in preparing rating proposals for presentation to internal rating committees.Assist in preparing rating reports (both in English and Portuguese).Monitor macroeconomic and credit indexes.Participate in internal rating committees.Work in a hybrid model; candidate must be available to work in-office at least 3 days a week.What You Need to Have:To be attending college, preferably in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or other quantitative disciplines.Numeracy and computer proficiency are a prerequisite, including use of Excel.Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in both English and Portuguese are required.What Would Make You Stand Out:Previous working experience is a plus.VBA and/or SQL knowledge is a plus.Why Fitch?At Fitch Group, the combined power of our global perspectives is what differentiates us.
