The Role Responsibilities of this Internal Auditor role include:Perform risk-based, objective, and independent audits of Kyndryl's processes and controlsExecute on the established audit framework to give reasonable assurance of design and effectiveness of processes and controlsPerform all phases of the audit engagements, including, but not limited to, planning and scoping, identification and evaluation of risks and opportunities, developing and conducting testing to evaluate the design and the effectiveness of processes and controls, identifying and reporting findings, suggesting recommendations for improvements to Kyndryl's processes and systems and following up with audit client remediationsEnsure quality of work and deliverables in accordance with professional and Kyndryl GAO standardsProvide strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify root cause of issues and develop recommendations to improve Kyndryl's control postureAnalyze complex problems/issues, anticipate potential risks and impacts. Develop and recommend solutionsDemonstrate clear and effective verbal, written and oral communication skills to report out on audit status, results and/or issues to Kyndryl leadershipDevelop a strong understanding of the business, operations, policies and procedures of the business, processes, and areas under reviewServe as trusted advisor for business process and internal controlsAssists with other projects, outside of audits, and various administration tasks as they may arise Who You Are Required Technical and Professional ExpertiseDirect experience related to external audit, internal controls, risk management, compliance, or accounting in an organization of appropriate scale and complexityPossession of at least one of the following certifications: CIA, CPA, CISA, CFE, or other relevant certificationStrong knowledge of the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF) by the Institute of Internal Auditors, internal control concepts (COSO), and accounting principles (e.g., US GAAP, IFRS) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)Possess a strong work ethic with a commitment to continuous improvement in a dynamic environment that strives to exceed expectationsExperience in conducting audits/reviews, and performing risk assessments for a global organizationPreferred Technical and Professional ExpertiseAbility to embrace and take ownership of projects, including maintaining day-to-day audit project responsibilityExcellent project management and organizational skills and oral and written communication skillsStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsRequired EducationUndergraduate degree in one of the following areas: Accounting or FinancePreferred EducationMaster's degree in one of the following areas: Accounting, Finance, Business or other relevant areaTravelLess than 25% of travel may be required Diversity is a whole lot more than what we look like or where we come from, it's how we think and who we are.
