International Sales Account Manager (Brazilian Market)

Would you like to be part of a young, international, and dynamic team to help the company grow further?

LG Sonic is currently scaling up its sales team and looking for a full-time Account Manager to join us in our Brazilian Office.

What will you do?
Within this role based in Brazil, you will oversee developing new accounts and managing existing projects. These projects are mainly in the water and energy industry. You will be responsible for all aspects of sales - from developing prospects to producing proposals and managing contracts for projects and building good, long-term relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

The main responsibilities would include.
Define projects with new and existing clients
Provide recommendations on water quality (with the support of our team of biologists)
Closely follow the development and opportunities within the international water technology market
Understand the needs of your prospects and match them with a total solution
Answer prospective customers on time and professionally
Convert leads and prospects into long-term customers through negotiation and relationship management
Keep the CRM up to date
Proactively identify new opportunities and potential for market growth
Understand company products & services as well as business position & competition to keep business competitive.
Planning and visiting trade shows, seminars and congresses together with the team.
Managing new and existing contracts for ongoing activities

The role requires excellent people skills to maintain good relationships and understanding when there is a business opportunity. Additionally, you will report to the Sales Manager.

Our products provide an environmentally friendly solution to effectively control algae in lakes, reservoirs, treatment plants, and other applications. Over the last decade, more than 10,000 LG Sonic® products have been successfully installed in over 60 different countries. We maintain our edge in this market by holding worldwide approved certificates, patents and know-how for algae control, ultrasound technology, and continuous monitoring under the trademark LG Sonic™ and MPC-Buoy™.

Our young team is a combination of 30 people from different corners of the world. LG Sonic also has offices in the US, UAE and Brazil, and our main office in Zoetermeer. Our international team culture is based on integrity, collaboration, inclusion, and excellence.

Competencies
Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Portuguese. Spanish is a plus.
2-3 years experience in Sales environment. Experience with B2B sales or business development is a plus.
Experience in the water or environmental industry.
Independent mindset and transparency within team communications.
Knowledge of CRM systems is a plus.
Available 40 hrs a week and residing in Brazil.
