Job Title: International Sales Engineer Job Code: 17915 Job Location: Brazil Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked – and have every other Friday off Job Description: Under the L3Harris PSPC Director of International Sales, the Sales Engineer will work within the existing International Engineering Team. This team is responsible for supporting the system and terminal design, installation, maintenance, and training for the International Program bids in Canada, Latin America, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific regions. This role will focus on Latin America, Europe, Middle East, and African markets. Engineer will be responsible for demonstrations, trials, certifications, and tradeshows. The Sales Engineer will be required to work as part of a team or as an individual and engage with other Engineers, Sales Specialists, Program Managers (PM), Account Managers (AM), and Customers. Based in Brazil, current and projected activities or programs in support are primarily for CALA and EMEA, however both domestic and international travel may be required. The Sales Engineer is required to prepare, configure, and support intermediate level terminal and Networked Systems. These systems would generally have been designed by a Systems Engineer or higher level Sales Engineer for this Sales Engineer to implement. Essential Functions: Develop technical strategies that enhance our success on particular opportunities. Increase win probabilities by gaining advantage through specmanship, differentiated offerings, and compelling win strategies. Provide pre-sales and/or post-sale technical support of company products/systems. Provide, present, and interpret design, application and service information to sales staff and customers. May assist with the design of minor systems to satisfy customer needs. Assess and analyze technical application of company products and competing equipment to meet customer needs. May assist with the preparation and presentation of sales proposals through the provision of technical and non-technical drawings; equipment specifications and technical paragraph text. Provide follow-up support in disseminating technical information on specific Pre-Sales. May install, configure, operate, maintain, repair or modify customer equipment or software. Analyze and troubleshoot equipment failures to determine cause and recommends and/or performs corrective action. Partner with customers to develop solutions to mission needs and mission gaps Qualifications: Educated to HNC level or equivalent, engineering, or related discipline Bachelor's Degree with 6 years prior experience, Graduate Degree with 4 years prior experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. Preferred Additional Skills: Experience with L3Harris P25 radio products or general P25 radio communications including installation, operation, fault-finding, and basic maintenance of static and mobile installations. Experience with LTE and Mission-critical Push-to-talk solutions Integration of third-party vendor software CCNA or ICND 1 qualified or trained
