Global Audit and Assurance (GA&A) is a global organization of approximately 180 employees.
GA&A provides independent, objective assurance and advisory services designed to add value and improve J&J's operations and to assist management in maintaining compliance with government and industry regulations, mitigate risk and achieve operational excellence.
It assists management in ensuring the appropriate design and effective execution of a system of financial & information management internal controls, compliance with government & industry regulations, and operational excellence through adherence to enterprise standards & best practices GA&A helps J&J accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of governance, risk management and control processes.
The **Lead Specialist - Investigations will be based in either Brazil or Mexico** and have accountability to support a significant number of the investigations performed in the LatAm region, making a significant impact within the Johnson & Johnson GA&A Group, as well as to Johnson & Johnson.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Support sensitive issue (fraud, conflict of interest, etc.)
investigations primarily in LatAm, but with flexibility to cover other regions, as needed (including both at Johnson & Johnson and third-party entities)
- Present clear & succinct verbal & written observations, findings from investigations, and recommendations to Company leadership
- Ensure that deliverables are achieved completely and accurately
- Deliver clearly written investigation reports to GAA leadership in a timely fashion
- Perform and leverage data analytics to enhance investigation procedures
- Make a positive contribution to organizational health by participating in GA&A organizational initiatives whenever possible
- Ad-hoc duties as required
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent is required; Advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Big 4, Compliance, or audit functions
- Experience conducting fraud and Compliance investigations and/or ABAC/FCPA reviews
- Experience working in a global function
- Ability to work independently and with limited information to develop work plan for investigations
- Ability to frame complex issues in a way that is understandable for the audience
- Ability to independently lead interviews at all levels of the organization
- High degree of independent judgment and decision making
- Must be able to write clear and concise investigation reports in business English, including using correct syntax, grammar, and vocabulary**Other**:
