Iseries Engineer With Application Coding Background

We are on the lookout for a skilled iSeries Engineer with a strong background in application coding to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will excel in developing automation scripts, specifically for enhancing security protocols within the iSeries environment. This role demands a professional well-versed in RPG programming and the iSeries operating system, capable of taking basic design guidance and autonomously driving projects to fruition.
Key Responsibilities:

Create and deploy automation scripts aimed at bolstering security within the iSeries framework.
Work collaboratively with team members to understand project requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
Apply RPG programming expertise to optimize and maintain existing applications on the iSeries platform.

Minimum Requirements:

Demonstrated experience as an iSeries Engineer or in a comparable role, with a strong emphasis on application coding.
Mastery of RPG programming and in-depth knowledge of the iSeries operating system.
Proven track record of developing and implementing automation scripts, especially those focused on security.
