What you will do:
As a member of the IT Desktop Engineering team at Caterpillar, you'll be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing top-notch enterprise application support and managing a diverse range of platforms, including Windows, Mac, and Ubuntu.
What you will have – Skills:
Enterprise Application Support:
Provide expert support for enterprise applications, ensuring they function seamlessly across various platforms.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
Platform Management:
Support and maintain desktop environments on Windows, Mac, and Ubuntu platforms.
Ensure all systems are up-to-date, secure, and optimized for performance.
Installation and Configuration:
Install, configure, and upgrade hardware and software components as needed.
Ensure all systems meet company standards and user requirements.
Technical Support:
Offer technical support and assistance to end-users, addressing a wide range of IT-related issues.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Advanced English.
Solid knowledge related to PC support.
Top Candidates will have:
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure is a plus.
Programming languages such as Python, Perl, PowerShell, and Batch.
Automation knowledge such as IoT, Power Apps, and Power Platform.
