The expert will be responsible for tasks such as data modeling, ETL processes, creating and maintaining dashboards, analyzing data, and utilizing analytical skills to optimize BI infrastructure on a day-to-day basis.QualificationsThis position is preferable to be filled in Brazil.10 to 20 years of experience in IT, including 7+ years with AWS/Azure.Target IT infrastructure: AWS, Azure, and on-premises systems, including Windows Servers and MS SQL servers, as well as some Linux and other databases.Experience with SOC2 compliance is a plus.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work independently and remotely.Experience with mid-market business applications is a plus.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Native Portuguese and proficient in English.ResponsibilitiesPart of the work will be focused on Business Intelligence and Analytics systems on top of the IT infrastructure:Troubleshooting: Identifying and fixing technical issues with software, hardware, and networks.Designing and developing: Creating new computer systems, networks, and applications.Managing: Maintaining and optimizing systems, networks, and cloud services.Security: Protecting an organization's digital assets from cyberattacks and threats.Training: Teaching employees about best practices for computer usage and network security.Consulting: Working with clients and departments to resolve IT issues.Budgeting: Preparing estimates for executives to use in planning and scheduling work.Data management: Creating, analyzing, reporting, and converting data.Overall allocation: 40% support and troubleshooting; 30% system design and security; 20% consulting and training; 10% other.Preferable working hours based on EST (1h behind BRT).
