The project:
This role will involve managing a range of infrastructure projects, including datacenters, hardware and software implementations, and managing dependencies and impacts across multiple sites. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that vendors are aligned with the project goals and timelines while collaborating with internal teams to define strategies and priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead infrastructure projects from initiation to closure, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and cost constraints.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, managing all aspects of vendor collaboration and project development.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to define project strategies and priorities, and align them with business objectives.
Coordinate and manage dependencies between multiple infrastructure projects and resolve any issues or roadblocks.
Implement an Agile mindset within the team, while adapting to the current organizational processes.
Work with the PMO to ensure governance, project discipline, and alignment with business strategies.
Develop a clear project management plan, focusing on prioritization and execution strategies.
Ensure the vendors are tracking progress, meeting deadlines, and providing timely updates.
Provide support and guidance to the vendors.
Skills and Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in infrastructure project management, with a proven track record of managing large-scale IT infrastructure projects.
Experience with vendor management, building strong relationships, and ensuring vendor deliverables meet expectations.
Ability to work with a cross-functional team to define and align priorities and strategies.
Agile mindset with a flexible approach to adapt according to different scenarios.
Experience in IT infrastructure project governance, managing multiple stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with PMO processes.
Strong communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders across different levels.
Ability to manage and prioritize a large portfolio of infrastructure projects in a fast-paced environment.
About the role:
Working hours: 40 hours per week.
Time Zone: EST.
