Tasks OBJECTIVES:The IT Manager role has full ownership of the establishment and execution of the IT strategy and ensures its integration with Global IT and local business strategy to deliver all information and technology capabilities required to achieve business performance success.MAIN ACTIVITIES:Directs the design and implementation of IT operating model, organizational structure, and governance process to support end-to-end IT, including infrastructure, application support, user support, and architecture.Ensures high-quality delivery of all IT services to internal and external stakeholders.Implements best practices in IT service management to enhance efficiency and user satisfaction.Develops and implements comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to protect the organization's data and systems from threats.Ensures that all IT operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.Formulates a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the organization's business goals and objectives.
This includes identifying opportunities for technology to enhance business processes, improve customer experience, and create competitive advantages.Ensures integration with the enterprise's strategic planning process and the integration and usage of enterprise standards.Leads initiatives to leverage emerging technologies such as AI, cloud computing, and data analytics to drive digital transformation and innovation within the organization.Builds and leads a high-performing IT team by recruiting, training, mentoring, and retaining talented professionals.Promotes a culture of collaboration within the IT department and across other departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals.Collaborates with executive leadership and business partners to define and execute the digital business strategy.
Participates in and contributes to the assessment of external digital opportunities and threats, and internal technology capabilities required to achieve desired competitive positioning.Develops, manages, and optimizes the IT budget.
Ensures cost-effective investments in technology while maintaining high standards of service delivery.Negotiates contracts with vendors and service providers to ensure cost-effective solutions that meet the organization's needs.Leads, motivates and develops employees through goal agreements and performance appraisals based on the mission statement.
Ensures goal-oriented internal communication and task-related qualification.
Provides employee and task-related qualification in relation to Compliance requirements and ensures achievement of agreed goals.As a member of the executive board and leadership team, acting as the CIO, this professional participates in and contributes to overall enterprise business model, operating model, and business strategy development.This position has a solid line of reporting to the Regional IT CIO and a dotted line of reporting to local CEO.Qualifications MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Education / Training:Bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent work experience.Experience:Deep experience in IT leadership roles.Good experience in related, industry-leading, large, cross-functional teams or enterprise programs, influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders effectively across the organization and within complex contexts.Demonstrated experience in strategy and strategic planning, organization design and development.Preferably proven experience or demonstrated ability in leading large, complex and/or transformational initiatives in dynamic environments and taking advantage of digital opportunities to innovate business models and enable the digitalization of the business.Additionally, demonstrated expertise in leading and managing agile projects is essential, along with a solid understanding of agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or Lean.SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS:Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning, and execution skills.Expertise in budget planning and financial management.Strong business acumen, including industry, domain-specific knowledge of the enterprise and its business units.Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies and how other enterprises are employing them to drive digital business and how they may be applied to the enterprise to drive digital business.Competences:Proven ability to develop and articulate a compelling vision that inspires and motivates staff, fostering a culture of engagement and commitment.Ability to effectively communicate and instill confidence with peers and all key stakeholders.Effective influence and negotiation skills in an environment where resources may not be in direct control of this role.Ability to identify and leverage resources internally and externally to the enterprise to enhance capabilities that drive digital business.Ability to drive organizational change and build capabilities that effectively balance the needs for continuously exploiting capabilities to optimize operational efficiency, with delivering innovative and agile IT solutions to enable the business to explore digital business opportunities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain digital concepts
