ITIL Foundations certified required Must have relevant licenses or certifications- CCNA At least 5 years technical expertise in switching, routing, security (firewalls), wireless systems Expert knowledge of troubleshooting layer 1, layer 2 and layer 3 issues QoS design, deployment strategies and architectures experience Monitoring tools like CA eHealth, Solarwinds Orion, PRTG, or Ciscoworks Understanding of various network storage (SAN/NAS) & backup technologies. Your Responsibilities: As the Network Engineer based in our local HQ, you will be responsible for:
Troubleshoot network (LAN, WAN, DNS, DHCP etc.) and firewall-related issues while providing excellent customer service according to priorities based on business impact and urgency You manage the lifecycle of the existing infrastructure to keep it modern and up to date You automate tasks and come up with improvements to increase efficiency You collaborate with project managers and technology teams to deliver efficient and quality projects You work closely with vendors, partners, and other relevant stakeholders You create technical documentation and review it regularly You provide guidance to other engineers and share knowledge via technical sharing sessions with the Service Desk You conduct latency optimization testing identifying breakages and recommends solutions You support a secured wireless environment You also support of datacenter migrations, upgrades, and redesign You finally support of global HQ, regional, and plants with Cisco and Meraki devices.
