Position: IT Operations Engineer (Full-Time, Remote, Fluent English) Reports to: Service Delivery Manager Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts (Washington DC time) Job Summary: As an IT Operations Engineer , your responsibilities will range from supporting our centralized services, RMM, inventory, automation, network infrastructure, Windows servers, cloud environments, and resolving Tier 1, 2 and 3 service issues.
You'll play a key role in maintaining operational integrity and helping clients achieve their business goals through expert IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Support our centralized services, RMM, inventory and systems.
Respond to and resolve Tier 1, 2 and 3 service tickets in a timely manner.
Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to continuous service improvement.
Ensure the integrity and security of enterprise data across various systems, adhering to industry standards for privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
Perform regular ticket reviews and provide reports to the Service Delivery Manager as required.
Create, maintain, and update documentation on clients' IT environments.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in information technology (or a related field), or 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate within a team or work autonomously.
Microsoft Certifications (Azure, Windows Server, Hyper-V), CompTIA A+, Network+ certifications.
Proficiency with Active Directory/Domain Services (Windows Server 2012/2016/2019).
Experience with automation, scripting, patching, backup, security software.
Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for technical issues.
Knowledge of Microsoft Cloud platforms, including Office 365, Azure, InTune, and AutoPilot.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capability to adapt quickly to changing environments.
Experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment is a plus, but not required.
