Great opportunity!Global insurance and asset management company seeks a responsible, organized, dynamic and management-oriented person.Main responsibilities The RoleResponsible for leading an IT capability or service delivery function.Direct and manage the technology solution delivery in support of business and technology plans.Accountable for IT delivery, IT operations, service management, staff management and development and IT capability leadership.Scope will cover the small to mid-size capabilities of a moderately complex nature and will require occasional contact with senior level organization leaders where the ability to influence will be expected.This role operates independently and under general direction from leadership.Essential Job FunctionsDeliver projects, solutions and IT services in support of approved business and technology driven portfolios of work.Deliver solutions that meet functional requirements, delivery schedules, within cost projections, and of high quality.Able to prepare and present IT solution recommendations, status updates, and business value propositions to the highest levels of business and IT leadership.Platform Availability and StabilityEnsure supported IT systems are stable and available.Ensure currency of upgrade path is consistent with IT strategy and business expectations.Plan for capacity, volume growth, retirement, SLA, and OLA's.Business of ITLeverages Multi Vendor relationships and ensures high performing Vendor deliveries.Collaborates and actively supports other IT functions to ensure overall IT success.Understands IT industry best practices, standards, and resources (Gartner, vendors, etc.)
to ensure continuous optimization of IT delivery effectiveness.Ensure overall success of IT delivery and meet customer expectations.Comply with process and control requirements.Understand and support the AZL mission, goals, and priorities.Manage staff, forecast and budgetsDirect and build a high performing team.Ensure employee engagement is maintained at high levels.Manage to approved budget levels.Understand and know costs of delivery or services provided.Ensure employee development plans are set and achieved.Requirements and skills Experience and EducationFluent English.8 to 10 years' experience required; expert in leading and directing IT solution delivery.Four-year degree in technical discipline, engineering, business, mathematics or related field.11+ years' experience preferred; managing several different IT functions and has interacted directly with business leadership.Advanced degree preferred; master's in computer science, Business, Finance or related field.Licensing/Certification/Other Technology Certifications as applicable preferred.Additional information Modelo de contratação:PJForma de atuação:100% Remoto#J-18808-Ljbffr
