We are seeking a dedicated Java Developer to join our software engineering team and contribute to the development and enhancement of our enterprise applications. As a Mid-Level Java Developer, you will be integral in developing robust backend systems and APIs, ensuring system reliability, performance, and integration. Your proficiency in Java and backend technologies will be essential for delivering scalable and secure software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java applications with a focus on high availability, low latency, and scalability;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, designers, and product managers, to define and deliver on new features and optimizations;
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code to implement the desired requirements;
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing;
- Analyze user requirements and convert requirements into highly functional code;
- Continuously integrate and deploy developed software. Update and modify systems to improve efficiency;
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring robustness and production stability;
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and distribute knowledge;
- Implement security and data protection solutions;
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to apply them within the organization where appropriate.
Requirements for this challenge:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience;
- Proven work experience as a Java Developer or similar role with solid understanding of projects from the perspective of both client and business;
- Experience in Java and development of enterprise-grade applications;
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming and design patterns;
- Experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot and Hibernate;
- Knowledge of relational databases (such as MySQL or PostgreSQL), SQL, and ORM technologies;
- Experience with Java testing tools like JUnit and Mockito;
- Understanding of build automation technologies like Maven, Jenkins, or Gradle;
- Proficiency in intermediate to advanced English, both written and spoken, for effective global communication.
