We are looking for a
Software Architect or Technical Leader
with a strong background in
Drupal
to lead our development team in Brazil, collaborating with teams across the USA and Europe.
The ideal candidate should be passionate about sharing knowledge and learning new technologies, contributing positively to both CI&T and the broader community.

Your Mission:
Lead the team technically, ensuring adherence to best practices in code standards and architectural design in a DXP Platform based on Drupal;
Guide the development of Drupal applications, including custom modules and themes;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including user experience and content strategy;
Ensure security and performance best practices are followed in solutions;
Create and maintain necessary design documentation;
Communicate effectively with client teams to align technical solutions.
You need to have experience with:
Extensive experience in web development with advanced skills in Drupal, PHP, HTML/CSS, MySQL;
In-depth knowledge of Drupal 10+ architecture, best practices, and coding standards;
Extensive experience with responsive web applications and front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, SCSS/LESS, Twig, Grunt/Gulp, etc);
Proven software architecture design and technical leadership experience;
Experience managing Drupal deployments between server environments (Dev, QA, Stage, Production);
Experience with object-oriented design and data modeling;
Experience integrating open source and third-party applications into existing systems;
Excellent verbal/written communication skills and strong time management and analytical/problem-solving abilities;
Ability to communicate (both verbal and written) in English.
Either Advanced or Fluent;
Ability to create proof of concepts and coding complex mechanisms;
Ability to share your knowledge with the team members.
You will stand out if you have:
Familiarity with the Pantheon Platform and WebOps;
Knowledge of non-functional requirements (accessibility, performance, security, GDPR, etc); Knowledge of Design Patterns, Clean Architecture and Clean Code;
Knowledge of unit, integration and E2E testing;
Knowledge of Drupal Community, modules, themes and standards.
Location:
Candidates must reside in
Campinas, São Paulo, or Brazil
(preferably close to Campinas) and be available for travel.
