The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development using Python and AWS services, with a focus on building and maintaining robust REST APIs. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and ensuring the reliability and performance of our backend systems.Key ResponsibilitiesBackend Development: Design and develop backend systems using Python, ensuring high performance and scalability.AWS Integration: Deploy and manage backend services using AWS (Lambdas, Step Functions), ensuring optimal performance and scalability.API Development: Create and maintain RESTful APIs, adhering to Open API standards to enable seamless integration between various systems.Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices in software development and code reviews.Testing: Implement unit tests and integration tests to ensure the reliability and performance of backend systems.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to constantly improve backend development processes.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Experience: Proven experience (5+ years) as a Backend Developer with a strong portfolio of backend systems and services.Technical Skills: Proficient in backend development using Python.Strong understanding and experience with AWS services, specifically Lambdas and Step Functions.Solid experience in creating and maintaining RESTful APIs, with a strong understanding of Open API standards.Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems (Git).Methodologies: Experience with Agile development methodologies.Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
