The team you will be a part of The CAD Dish Team is responsible for supporting global and regional projects, delivering sustainable Innovations to our Stakeholders through transforming requirements into reality. The team also has a mission to unleash the full potential of product development tools and technologies to create advantage on value creation with best time and cost. This role in summary Collaborate with engineering and other functions to develop designs for mechanical components and subsystems using computer-aided design (CAD). Your responsibilities will include Create and revise solid models and detail drawings of complex components and assemblies from design layouts, marked prints, sketches, and verbal instructions. Operate within a product lifecycle management (PLM) environment to specify parts and assemblies, create product structure, and receive/complete tasks. Establish component tolerances in accordance with manufacturing capabilities. Apply design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) concepts in developing designs. Critique designs for safety, manufacturability, failure modes, customer usage and function. Perform moderate to complex tolerance analysis and validation. Participate in design review activities. Assist in establishing complex project design objectives and in the selection of design approaches. Develop and obtain prototype parts for testing and pre-production activities. Engaged with new technologies: desktop 3d printing, virtual/augmented reality (VR/AR). Minimum requirements Complete bachelor's degree Experience using CAD English: Intermediate (minimum), Upper intermediate (preferred) Preferred skills and experiences Complete bachelor's degree in eng./design tech Experience using Creo Parametric with workspaces in Windchill. Experience using Windchill to specify parts, create product structure, and receive/complete tasks. Advanced CAD modeling, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), plastic part design, and DFM/DFA proficiency. Ability to manage resources, time and work effectively while being self-motivated. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Experience using Google's G Suite products (Gmail, calendar, hangouts, drive, docs, sheets, slides, sites).
