The team also has a mission to unleash the full potential of product development tools and technologies to create advantage on value creation with best time and cost.This role in summaryCollaborate with engineering and other functions to develop designs for mechanical components and subsystems using computer-aided design (CAD).Your responsibilities will includeCreate and revise solid models and detail drawings of complex components and assemblies from design layouts, marked prints, sketches, and verbal instructions.Operate within a product lifecycle management (PLM) environment to specify parts and assemblies, create product structure, and receive/complete tasks.Establish component tolerances in accordance with manufacturing capabilities.Apply design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) concepts in developing designs.Critique designs for safety, manufacturability, failure modes, customer usage and function.Perform moderate to complex tolerance analysis and validation.Participate in design review activities.Assist in establishing complex project design objectives and in the selection of design approaches.Develop and obtain prototype parts for testing and pre-production activities.Engaged with new technologies: desktop 3d printing, virtual/augmented reality (VR/AR).Minimum requirementsComplete bachelor's degree Experience using CADEnglish: Intermediate (minimum), Upper intermediate (preferred)Preferred skills and experiencesComplete bachelor's degree in eng./design techExperience using Creo Parametric with workspaces in Windchill.Experience using Windchill to specify parts, create product structure, and receive/complete tasks.Advanced CAD modeling, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), plastic part design, and DFM/DFA proficiency.Ability to manage resources, time and work effectively while being self-motivated.Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.Experience using Google's G Suite products (Gmail, calendar, hangouts, drive, docs, sheets, slides, sites).What we offerOne day of Home Office per week;Short Friday every Friday;Discount on products through Compra Certa;Discount on insurance (pet, auto, home, bike, travel, and more)Access to the Company Recreation Club available for affiliated employees and guests;Gympass;Employee Support Program, with 24-hour assistance from legal, social, financial, social workers, and psychologists;Daycare assistance or Nursery at the company for female employees;Benefits such as consigned or social loans, health and dental plans, life insurance, and private pension plans competitive with the market;Services available on-site: cafeteria, internal bank branch, and lactation room;Transportation voucher or free parking at the company;Meals on-site;Food voucher;Two weeks of remote work from anywhere;After 5 years with the company, eligible employees can take four weeks of paid leave;Extended maternity/paternity leave.Additional informationThis position is located at Rio Claro, about 02 hours away from São Paulo in an important industrial center of the state.
