It's our R&D teams that ensure our company stays at the forefront of innovation, investigating and making use of the latest technology in order to enable our company to keep delivering outstanding experiences.What you'll do:As a JR Product Development Engineer, you will support R&D projects for Refrigerators and Freezers, working with OEM sourced products for growth in Latin American markets. Help Electrolux Group keep shaping living for the better, and we'll help you unleash all of your potential.In detail, you will:Collaborate on research and development initiatives related to refrigerators and freezers.Contribute to sourcing projects for these appliances, ensuring they meet quality standards and market demands.Facilitate collaboration between cross-functional teams, including laboratory, certification, and suppliers.Work closely with these teams to develop original equipment manufacturer (OEM) products.Create project plans, propose schedules, and execute projects.Coordinate tests, samples planning, and bill of materials (BOM) preparation.Prepare comprehensive product documentation, including user manuals, labeling, and inspection plans.Establish and maintain direct communication with OEM suppliers in Asia and other Electrolux plants worldwide.Ensure that all products adhere to energy efficiency and electrical safety regulations in Latin American countries.As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/C2W).Who you are:You have:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Chemical or related areas);Experience with product development activities;Experience with industrial environment, refrigeration, and product certification is a plus;Experience with project management and supplier development is a plus;Advanced English.Where you'll be:You will be based at the Guabirotuba plant in Curitiba.
