Summary
Rakuten Advertising is looking for people excited to analyze opportunities for automation and operational improvement. Reporting into the Team Lead, The Junior Business Analyst will support our business operations and project delivery by providing analytical support, insights, and recommendations to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to understand business needs, document requirements, and assist in the implementation of solutions. Analysts will work with teams around the world to discover and design improvements that best fit company goals.
**Responsibilities**:
- Analysis of business processes and workflows with the objective of finding out how they can be improved or automated- Deliver process and solution documentation while working across an array of teams, geographies and tools- Lead projects from end-to-end, ensuring goals are achieved on time- Develop deep cross-functional understanding of individual teams and processes to ensure best-fit solution development- Monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions- Document all work to a high professional standard
Required Skills and Experience:
- English fluency (at least Upper-Intermediate)- Effective and persuasive communicator; Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a global environment- Basic understanding of business process modeling, workflow, and project management principles.- Familiarity with data analysis tools and methodologies.- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities and tasks.- Experience in a business analysis or related role is preferred but not mandatory- Understanding of RPA tooling(AA, UiPath, macro creation ect) and SDLC design would be a plus- Understanding of ecommerce systems and experience with online advertising would be a plus
