As a Junior Legal Operations Engineer, you will play an instrumental role in supporting the Legal Operations function within our dynamic and innovative digital legal team.
We are seeking someone with a strong interest in learning and gaining hands-on experience in implementing legal technology solutions, workflow automation, project management, someone with strong analytical thinking, team mindset and the ability to adapt and learn quickly.
Your duties will include providing support of technology, applications, process coordination, and administration.
You must be adaptable to changing priorities and business needs, proactive in identifying areas for improvement, flexible to work with multiple stakeholders globally and diligent in executing action plans within prescribed timelines.
Responsibilities
Contribute to enhancing the legal operations function by supporting the implementation and enhancement of cutting-edge technologies and workflow applications to optimize the efficiency of our legal team.
Assist in automation application projects to minimize repetitive legal processes and maximize efficiencies.
Participate in testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of new technical solutions.
Document existing legal processes and create comprehensive workflow guides.
Support legal knowledge management databases, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and organization of information.
Provide centralized support to establish standardized processes on global scale, such as standardizing contract generation to maintain workflow consistency & data integrity.
Assist in handling legal ops department ticketing requests for various tools and processes.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with teams across the organization to ensure consistent implementation of automation solutions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Basic experience of technical project management or business operations.
Preferred experience working within the legal industry.
Preferred experience with Google Suite, Salesforce, e-Signature, eDiscovery, eBilling, CLM, project management systems, workflow automation tools, data visualization tools (dashboards), as well as other technology and applications commonly used to support the legal function.
Interest in becoming proficient in other tools used to support the legal function, including cutting-edge technologies.
A flexible approach to adjust and scale in response to evolving business requirements.
Demonstrate exceptional project management skills, efficiently prioritizing and managing deadlines for multiple concurrent projects.
Demonstrates the ability to learn and analyze legal and technical problems.
Ability to operate autonomously and work proactively with various teams across the organizations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate legal concepts, policies, and documents in a clear and easily understandable manner.
Fluent in Spanish and English.
