Role Overview The ideal candidate will assist with sales activities, provide excellent customer service, and ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to our clients. This role is perfect for someone looking to start a career in sales and logistics within the maritime industry.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Sales team in generating leads and identifying new sales opportunities.
Provide product information and recommendations to customers.
Process sales orders accurately and efficiently.
Maintain and update customer records in the CRM system.
Support in the preparation of sales presentations and proposals.
Submit weekly reports.
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly and professionally.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
Prepare and pack orders for delivery, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Coordinate to schedule and execute deliveries.
Load and unload goods, ensuring they are handled with care.
Maintain delivery records and update the system with delivery status.
Assist with stock management, including receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming inventory.
Support to conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
Help maintain a clean and organised storeroom.
Skills And Competencies:
Proven work experience as a Sales Representative.
Familiarity with CRM practices will be considered an asset.
Highly motivated and target-driven person.
Good selling, negotiation and communication skills.
Base Location
Malta (with the possibility to travel to Group Offices located in various areas in the Mediterranean).
