**Position/Title**:
Landing Gear Sales Manager for Latin America Region
**Educational requirements**
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Aviation Management, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus).
**Language Skill**
Fluency in Portuguese and English; additional languages such as Spanish is an advantage.
**Qualification requirements**
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar role within the aviation industry, preferably with expertise in Landing Gears or related components.
- Solid understanding of MRO services, aircraft maintenance procedures, and aviation regulations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth, meet targets, and manage a complex account portfolio.
- Strategic thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to leverage data to make informed business decisions.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client visits and industry events.
**Responsibilities**:
1. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the Landing Gears Business Unit in Latin America. This strategy should align with the company's overall objectives and focus on expanding our customer base while maintaining existing relationships.
2. Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential customers, assess market trends, analyze competitor activity, and identify growth opportunities. Utilize this data to create effective sales plans and improve our competitive positioning.
3. Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including airlines, aircraft operators, MRO service providers, and other stakeholders in the aviation industry. Understand their needs, respond to inquiries, and provide timely support to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
4. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Latin American region. This includes identifying potential partnerships, strategic alliances, and distribution channels to expand the company's market presence.
5. Sales Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, such as revenue growth, customer acquisition, and sales conversion rates. Regularly report on the team's performance to the leadership, highlighting achievements, challenges, and action plans for improvement.
6. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and customer support, to ensure effective communication and alignment to deliver superior customer experiences.
7. Sales Presentations and Negotiations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential customers. Lead negotiations on pricing, contracts, and terms to secure profitable deals while adhering to company guidelines and policies.
8. Trade Shows and Events: Represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and events within the Latin American region. Promote our products and services, engage with potential customers, and generate leads.
