RINA is currently recruiting for a LATAM Property & Facility Technical Support Advisor to join its office in Rio de Janeiro within the Global Property & Facility Management Division.
MissionTo provide a comfortable, safe and compliant working environment for LATAM cluster sites, preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensuring that facilities are safe and well functioning.
The role of the LATAM Cluster Facilities Manager is to manage site-related activities and services to maintain a safe and efficient working environment to a consistently high level.
Coordinate and prioritise building maintenance and facilities management whilst driving environmental performance focusing on compliance, waste management, and energy efficiency.
Collaborate with the QHSE team to support and drive improvement.
The ideal candidate will be well-organized and able to optimize the use of space and equipment while reducing operating costs.
Leadership abilities and phenomenal efficiency are key skills for this role.

Job ResponsibilitiesFacilities Management: Planning and coordinating all installations and refurbishments of the sites respecting the budget.Managing the upkeep of building equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards according to QHSE manager indications.Inspecting buildings' structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations.Oversee and provide a proactive facility service for the LATAM cluster sites regarding efficiency and building maintenance, liaising with employees and external contractors to deliver compliance.Manage a PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance), schedule and conduct daily/weekly/monthly/annual inspections as appropriate.Ensure actions are completed in a timely manner, coordinating with subcontractors and other key stakeholders.Ensure statutory compliance as it applies to buildings, infrastructure, and facilities management as well as health and safety requirements, working with QHSE colleagues, assisting in incident investigation and resulting actions where appropriate.Support the Corporate HSSE Manager in ensuring security aspects are covered – safe access to the site and the buildings, alarms, security access etc where applicable.Manage improvement projects to maintain a high standard facility.
Supervise and coordinate the work of contractors according to an agreed project plan, ensuring delivery on time, to specification, and to budget, using H&S permits as required.Respond appropriately to facilities emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and deal with the consequences.Cooperate and interact with other Corporate Functions such as IT, Accounting, HR, and QHSE departments.Health & Safety: Liaise with building management companies to ensure local legal compliance with general facility requirements such as fire safety adherence in support of HSE local manager.Support HSE team in implementing H&S tasks related to facilities.Support investigation of any near misses/incidents involving LATAM cluster facilities.Drive environmental performance of the company in line with local regulations, with particular focus on waste management and energy efficiency.Ensure the facility complies with all relevant legislation.Engage with appropriate service providers for the safe disposal of waste and recyclables (plastic material, paper, etc.)
in accordance with waste regulations.Drive improved energy usage across the business, monitoring usage and recommending improvements.Workspace Management: Assist with managing the cleaning contractors.Carry out visual inspections of the work environment when needed.Ensure areas are in working order for staff.Provide other facilities support as needed within the remit and scope of the role.RequirementsBachelor or Master degree in Technical Subjects (e.g.
Architecture, Engineering, Economic, etc.)
or any subject degree relevant to the role.3-5 years of experience in similar roles are an element of preference.Possess excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English.Competences Strong communication and cross-work ability.Analytical mind with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.Experience in collecting and analyzing data.Proactivity and determination in reaching challenging targets.Meticulous attention to detail with advanced organizational skills.Talent in networking and cooperation.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Critical thinker with a high proficiency in math and logic.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong cooperation attitude.Excellent report writing, communication, and IT skills.Advanced competency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
