Job Title: LATAM Regional Manager Company: UAPP Location: LATAM (Colombia, Brazil, Mexico) Reports To: International Marketing and Operations Manager Department: Business Development Position Overview: The Regional Manager for LATAM Operations at UAPP plays a pivotal role in overseeing and expanding the company's operations in Colombia, Brazil, and Mexico. This leadership role involves driving business growth through strategic planning, managing P&Ls, building and managing a regional team, and optimizing the education consultancy process, particularly for international student recruitment. The Regional Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive business plans while ensuring alignment with overall corporate strategy. Additionally, the role requires a deep understanding of local market dynamics, competitor analysis, and visa application processes for key study destinations, including the UK, USA, Canada, and Australia. Key Responsibilities: Business Strategy & P&L Management: Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan for LATAM, ensuring alignment with the company's global objectives. Oversee financial performance by managing the P&L for the region, focusing on revenue growth, margin improvement, and cost control. Provide strategic direction for LATAM, integrating market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to drive sustainable growth. Regularly evaluate the performance of the region's operations, using KPIs to assess profitability, market share, and client satisfaction. Team Leadership & Development: Build, train, and manage a high-performing team of business development professionals across Colombia, Brazil, and Mexico. Provide ongoing mentorship and development opportunities to team members, fostering a culture of growth and high performance. Set clear performance goals, monitor team productivity, and implement strategies to achieve targets. Lead regional recruitment efforts, ensuring that the team is equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to meet client needs and market demands. International Education Recruitment Expertise: Leverage a deep understanding of the international education recruitment process, including visa application procedures for the UK, USA, Canada, and Australia. Oversee the consulting process, ensuring that clients receive accurate and timely advice on study options, visa requirements, and application processes. Stay updated on changes in immigration and education policies in key study destinations and adapt strategies accordingly to support students' needs. Develop strong relationships with educational institutions, immigration bodies, and other key stakeholders to facilitate the recruitment process. Market Understanding & Commercial Strategy: Possess an in-depth understanding of the LATAM education market, including competitive landscape, pricing strategies, and product offerings. Conduct regular competitor analysis to stay ahead in the market, identifying areas for differentiation and innovation. Evaluate current products and services, recommending enhancements to improve market fit and profitability. Develop and implement commercial strategies that align with market conditions, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability. Offline Marketing & Brand Identity: Plan and execute offline marketing campaigns tailored to the LATAM market, including participation in educational fairs, seminars, and print advertising. Ensure the company's brand identity is consistently represented across all marketing efforts in the region. Collaborate with local vendors and agencies to produce high-quality marketing materials. Track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make data-driven adjustments to optimize results. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and educational partners across the LATAM region. Identify and pursue opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within the existing client base to maximize revenue. Address client concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and service delivery. Lead business proposals and presentations for potential clients and partners in the region. Market Expansion & Competitor Analysis: Stay informed on regional market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities. Provide insights into local market dynamics and adapt global strategies to meet the specific needs of the LATAM region. Develop proposals and strategies to enter new markets, forming partnerships and expanding the company's reach. Conduct regular competitor and market analyses to stay competitive and ahead of emerging trends. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, team management, and P&L management in the international education sector, with specific focus on LATAM markets. Strong understanding of international student recruitment processes, including visa applications for the UK, USA, Canada, and Australia. Proven experience in building, training, and managing a high-performing team. In-depth knowledge of the LATAM market, including competitor analysis, product evaluation, pricing strategies, and commercial management. Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish (Portuguese is a plus). Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM tools, and financial management software. Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Willingness to travel frequently within the region.
