Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Analysis, elaboration and review of contracts in general of different complexities, such as: NDA, Service Agreements, Trial Agreements, SCC, Data Protection Agreements, Codes of Conduct, among others; Analysis, elaboration, review and update of routine legal, compliance and data protection documents, such as: reports, official letters, petitions, notifications, medium/high complexity manifestations, memos, internal policies, SOPs, Code of Conduct, among others; Provide legal, compliance and data protection support/advice in the company's strategic commercial projects as well as for all areas of the company's Group; Research legislation, doctrine, jurisprudence in Latin America, as well as innovations and updates related to legal issues, compliance and Data Protection; Review of contracts, documents, e-mails, presentations, etc., elaborated by other members of the team; Monitoring and assisting other members of the team; Monitoring, support and conducting demands received by the legal, compliance and data protection department; Elaboration of the department's reports and KPIs with quality and accuracy; Elaboration of presentations and conducting trainings related to the legal, compliance and data protection areas for suppliers, vendors, employees and third parties; Support and conduction of internal processes, such as: training control, monitoring, policy updates, due diligences, internal investigations, etc.; Direct support/report to the Head of the departments in relation to all issues of the legal, compliance and data protection areas. Primary activities include, but are not limited to: Control of the signing of documents by the company through its legal representatives, reviewing and making sure that there are no problems to sign; Legislative/normative follow-up on updates that may have an impact on the company's operation, company's Private and Data Protection Program and company's Integrity Program whether in routine administration matters (Ex: labor laws, working hours, vacations, new taxes, compliance, data protection, new laws, etc.), as well as in matters of the operation itself (clinical research, new business, etc.); Frequently review company's documents; Elaboration of all kinds of legal, compliance and data protection documents; Analysis, elaboration and review of contracts with different complexities; Participation in internal and external meetings, in Portuguese, English and Spanish; Providing training for other areas of the company and vendors related to legal, compliance and data protection issues; Follow up and conducting activities related to the necessary measures originated from the Compacts and Programs of which the company is member/adherent; To attend courses and lectures in order to improve/acquire new skills. Requirements: Bachelor of Laws; Active registration at "Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil"; Solid experience and background with Contracts in general (internal company lawyer or law firms); Working knowledge of global privacy laws and compliance laws; Desirable specialization in Contracts or Business Law; Desirable previous experience with Clinical Research Organizations and/or the Pharmaceutical Industry (internal company lawyer or law firms); Advanced/Fluent English; Basic/intermediate Spanish is desirable.
