ADP division is hiring a Lead Developer Frontend - LyricYou will work within a scrum team to bring the designs and ideas to life for new web applications integrated with backend microservices, APIs and other systems.You will start your day on a scrum call to sync up the sprint work and goal with your team.
You will spend most of your day designing, developing and testing your code and supporting your team members.
You will be able to deploy your code in production using automated continuous integration and continuous deployment.You will work with product managers, analysts, architects, and engineers to plan, design, develop, test, and implement information technology solutions.Availability to work in a hybrid work model, office located in Porto Alegre.WHAT YOU'LL DO:Here's what you can expect on a typical day:Scrum: We'll start each day with a scrum, working together to understand responsibilities, ID any issues, and communicate coding priorities.Coding: Working in two-week sprints, you must keep up with timelines and good coding standards.
Your primary responsibility is to deliver features on time.Communication: We don't code in a silo.
You'll talk to everyone from the project manager to Quality Assurance and current customers to understand requirements and create a collaborative output.Learning: We're always learning new codes and investigating open-source communities.
Knowing what questions to ask is more important than knowing the right answers.TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:Solid knowledge and experience on the following technologies:Solid knowledge on Typescript/Javascript;Solid knowledge on Typescript/Javascript front-end development frameworks (such as ReactJS, StencilJS, Angular) and its core principlesSolid knowledge on serverless computingNice-to-have knowledge on mobile development using native framewokrs (Java for Android and Swift for iOS) and non-native (such as Flutter, React Native, Ionic)Experience with other programming languages such as Java (SpringBoot preferably), Python and PHP would be a plusExperience with relational databases such as Postgres, Oracle, Mysql or PL SQLExperience with no-relational databases such as MongoDB, DocumentDBExperience with messaging frameworks such as KafkaExperience with cache data-store such as RedisExperience with log analysis using Elastic Search or SplunkStrong experience with version control like GITStrong experience with dependency management with Gradle or MavenAdvanced EnglishTechnical Design – ensuring that all work undertaken is of sound design and fits in with the existing architectureExperience on designing solutionsTechnically guides the team to deliver optimal/frictionless client experiencesParticipates in requirements gathering and reviews, assesses technical feasibility, assists in defining solutions, and prepares development artifacts where requiredWrite technical tasks to be taken by team membersInterested in the business reasons and needsTechnical Analysis – analyzing systems, problems, programs, formulating solutionsConducts code walk through and reviews with team membersCommunicates progress and issues to manager in timely fashionMonitors changes in technologyRemains up to date on current industry trends and internal architecture practices, principles, models, and standards; trains technical staff on new technologiesWhat are you waiting for?
