Job Title: Engineering LeadType: Full-Time, RemoteWorking Hours: Mondays - Fridays, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm PSTCompensation: $5,000-$7000About:We're a venture-backed RWA protocol redefining access to real estate via DeFi. We're creating a tokenized ETF of U.S. real estate that everyone around the world can invest in permissionlessly. The token is fungible, composable, free of transfer restrictions, and is compliant with U.S. securities regulations. Whether a crypto-native investor wants to earn non-correlated returns, or a crypto-agnostic investor wants an easy way to invest in U.S. real estate, it just works.We are working towards our product launch and a Token Generation Event (TGE). We're looking for an experienced Engineering Lead to guide our technical team, and scale our platform for launch.The Role:As the Engineering Lead, you will lead the development of our platform and oversee all technical aspects of the company. You will manage the engineering team, drive the technical vision, and ensure the infrastructure, data workflows, and blockchain integrations work seamlessly.This is a hands-on leadership role where you will balance strategic oversight with direct contributions to the platform. You'll also be responsible for expanding the engineering team and preparing for launch and the subsequent TGE.Key Responsibilities:Engineering Leadership: Build and lead a growing engineering team, set the technical direction, and ensure timely delivery of key milestones.Full-Stack Development: Oversee the development of our platform, ensuring the smooth handling of real estate investment data and integration with back-end systems. You will lead both front-end and back-end efforts.Infrastructure & DevOps: Manage the cloud infrastructure, including AWS, Terraform, and GitLab CI/CD pipelines to ensure scalability, performance, and security.Web3 & Blockchain: Ensure our smart contracts are well integrated with the platform. Oversee smart contract updates as needed and ensure they function within the broader technical stack.Automation & Workflows: Oversee data automation processes, including handling real estate investment data and automating key workflows.Compliance Integration: Work with the compliance team to integrate KYC/AML processes into the platform, ensuring regulatory requirements are met.Launch Preparation: Drive the technical efforts to prepare for the TGE and the broader platform launch.Required Skills:Full-Stack Development: Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, especially with Node.js for back-end development. Experience with front-end frameworks such as Vue.js.DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, and managing CI/CD pipelines.Web3 & Blockchain: Experience with Solidity, smart contract development, and blockchain tools like ethers.js and Hardhat.Team Leadership: Experience in building and managing engineering teams, including hiring, mentoring, and managing full-time employees and contractors.Compliance Awareness: Experience working in environments with regulatory requirements, understanding the importance of compliance in investment products.Preferred Experience:7+ years of experience in full-stack software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.2+ years working in Web3 (ideally DeFi), and a practitioner's understanding of token ecosystems.Previous experience at startups or scaling teams from early-stage through product launch.Familiarity with real estate or financial services industries is a plus.Active in the cryptocurrency X/TwittersphereWhat We Offer:A remote-first environment with flexibility and a competitive salary, equity, and token package.An opportunity to lead and shape the engineering efforts at a pioneering DeFi company focused on real estate tokenization.A chance to be part of a high-growth startup, working at the intersection of blockchain and financial services, building a product with real-world impact.A collaborative and dynamic work culture, where innovation, autonomy, and leadership are encouraged, and your work has a direct impact on the company's success.
