We are currently looking for a new Lead Engineer for our Mould & Assembly Engineering team. This person can be located at one of our sites in Lem or Aarhus in Denmark, Isle of Wight in England, or Porto in Portugal.

As a Lead Engineer, you will have an important role enabling the development of new manufacturing solutions, including concepting and validation for assembly tools for blades manufacturing in internally and externally factories. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across COO, VPS, and external suppliers to optimize the tools allowing the receiving factory to fulfill their production plan.
ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will be involved in the development, specifications, and commissioning of large and complex tools for wind turbine blade manufacturing.
Your Primary ResponsibilitiesDeveloping and specifying requirement and verifications plan for new tools.
Performing design review on supplier design.
Conducting FAT, SAT, and being a part of tool commissioning onsite in a global environment.
Representing Blades PE tooling onsite and being able to troubleshoot issues at hand.
QualificationsEngineering degree, either Bachelor or Master level.
DK/EU equivalent driver's license.
We Also Prefer Some Of The FollowingExperience from larger manufacturing companies.
Experience in development and delivering larger manufacturing equipment.
Knowledge from manufacturing and Design for Manufacturing.
Experience with composite blades build processes.
Experience with lifting tools.

Capable to formalize technical requirements and specifications for blades assembly tools.
