Apply now to become a valued member of our prestigious editing and translation team Responsibilities: • Edit legal documents and marketing content, especially submissions to legal directories. • Translate submissions and other legal documents and marketing content. • Analyze the suitability of cases in submissions to legal practice area definitions by each legal directory. • Identify the need for additional information to be requested from our clients. • Participate in team training sessions and meetings. Skills: • Exceptional reading and writing skills in (i) English, (ii) Spanish, and (iii) Portuguese, with the ability to explain legal jargon in plain language. • Effective time management to meet stringent deadlines. • Strong teamwork abilities. • Meticulous attention to detail. • Exceptional organizational skills. Qualifications: • Law Degree. • Native English speaker, OR proficiency certificate, OR ability to prove proficiency. • Native Spanish speaker, OR proficiency certificate, OR ability to prove proficiency. • Native Portuguese speaker, OR proficiency certificate, OR ability to prove proficiency. • Proficiency in French is a plus. • Translation courses are a plus. • Experience in the legal profession or with legal language (teaching or translating) is a plus. • Experience with legal directories or marketing-oriented writing is a plus.
