**The position**
- As a Legal, Ethics & Compliance Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will:
- Provide legal advice and strategic counsel within your area of expertise to relevant areas and organisational levels.
- Ensure that current or proposed activities, policies, business practices, and transactions comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Review and approve various legal documents including contracts, letters of agreement, pleadings, and other documents related to trade, commercial, financial, and operational matters.
- Represent the organisation in complex, controversial, significant, or specialised legal proceedings before courts, government agencies, or other authorities.
- Drive Public Affairs priorities at the Affiliate level, closely collaborating with the direct manager, local public affairs team, and regional LEC team.
**Qualifications**

- Law Degree
- Fluent in English
- Experienced and qualified lawyer (experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical, life sciences or medical device industry is a plus)
- On-the-job experience in tier-one law firm is desired
- Knowledge in Intellectual Property is a plus
**About the department**
- You will join our Legal, Ethics and Compliance team to be a business partner to the Public Affairs team in Brasília, where we drive Public Affairs priorities at the Affiliate level. Our team closely collaborates with the local public affairs team and the regional LEC team, creating local ownership of key business unit goals and accountability for their achievement. We ensure legal and ethical considerations are integrated into decision-making and proactively drive compliance and risk management processes.
