- The Legal Manager acts as the link between the LRCG Director and the Legal Department's team.
He/she is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the coordinators and lawyers and for guiding same with autonomy, liaising with the LRCG Director for any specific instructions and/or concerns related to such day-to-day activities.
- The Legal Manager:
- Directs the coordinators in their work;
- Assists in the coordinators' training and development;
- Distributes legal assignments amongst the coordinators under his/her supervision and reviews such legal work;
- Upon assignment from the LRCG Director and together with the teams, drafts, reviews, negotiates and administers legal and transactional documents, including commercial contracts for acquisition of equipment and services related to E&P activities;
- Upon assignment from the LRCG Director, liaises with external counsel and/or specialists;
- Represents TEEPBR in external committees (e.g.
IBP) and organizations upon instructions of the LRCG Director.
The Legal Manager further performs the following activities with greater level of autonomy:
- Assists the LRCG Director in providing legal advice and support to legal topics, mainly, but not only:
- Legal advice and support to regulatory topics (with emphasis, although not limited to, ANP regulations);
- Legal support to the other divisions of the Company;
- Follow-up of legal process, litigations and business transactions;
- Analysis linked to legal risks and implications;
- Assessments on new laws and regulations that may have implications to the Company.
The employee shall perform his/her activities in compliance with the HSE Management System, aligned with One Maestro Principles and oriented to safeguard the integrity of people, the environment and Company's assets and reputation.

holds several licenses in Brazil, being the nominated operator under some of the concession agreements.
- Experience as legal counsel in the business environment, most of them preferably in the O&G industry (upstream);
- Education: Licensed as attorney at law (regularly registered in Rio de Janeiro Bar Association);
- Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of Brazilian Laws (especially Petroleum Laws, ANP regulations);
- Behavior Skills: Good communications skills; Business oriented;
- Language: English skills - fluent in speaking, reading and writing.
