Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting and resolving efficiently technical problems on clients' servers and our server infrastructure;
Monitoring and analyzing existing services on our hosting infrastructure;
Skills&Qualifications:
Excellent knowledge of server administration on Linux (Ubuntu, Centos, Debian) LAMP, LEMP, Mysql, bash, DNS, mail servers, FTP, SSH, etc...;
Ability to write scripts(bash);
Understanding of Nagios, Cacti, etc.
Must-have skills:
Minimum of 4+ years of Linux System Administration and troubleshooting
Maximum attention to detail and analytical thinking
Research of additional information independently when required to solve a problem
Ability to organize workload taking full responsibility for what you do
Ability to provide information clearly and concisely
To be friendly and communicative
Work conditions:
Remote, schedule: full time (8 hours per day). Salary paid monthly at the end of the month.
Must have a stable and fast internet connection (at least 15-20 Mpbs download) preferably with another (backup) connection available as a standby, ideally both with static IP addresses to connect to corporate VPN and terminal server to access clients' systems.
Must have a PC with at least two monitors attached and OpenVPN, TightVNC, RDP Client, Firefox and Skype installed and ready to use in a quiet home-office environment.
