Project DescriptionAn American Investment Bank is enhancing its Regulatory Reporting processes by migrating from their current system to an in house build solution. ETL, RDBMS design and management are among the challenges. Java & Spring are key technologies.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop/integrate Derivative Trading ApplicationsCommunicate with business stakeholders including Traders, Operations and StratsHelp to understand and translate business requirements into technical design specificationsIdentify technology solutions for enhancements or new initiativesImplement unit and integration test cases with industry standard test automation frameworks.Document changes necessary to support business
Skills
Must have6+ years of enterprise development experience (Java/JDK 8+)Expertise in OOP/OODExcellent knowledge of relational database systems (SQL Server, Oracle)Advanced SQL querying and scripting skills.Ability to write and optimize complex stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.Knowledge of indexing, partitioning, and other optimization strategies.Experience in developing and managing ETL processes using tools like SSIS, Informatica, or Talend.Experience developing High-Performance and Distributed ApplicationsExperience with Message Brokers (ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar)Experience with Cache/In-Memory Data Grids (Redis, Hazelcast, Ignite or similar)Experience with REST/SOAP/gRPCExpertise in concurrency and multithreadingSpring (including Spring Boot and Spring Boot Actuator)Experience with automated testing (TDD, BDD, Mutation testing)Experience working on geo-distributed and asynchronous teamsExceptional verbal and written communication skillsHigh level of self-organization and self-management
