Machine Learning Engineer / Data Scientist (Home Office)

ITTConnect is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer / Data Scientist to fill a position with a US client. This is a position with a client that is a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and engineering services present in nearly 50 countries. The end client is in the telecommunications space (internet, cable TV, cellular provider). Job location : REMOTE, work from home anywhere in Brazil . Only resumes in English will be reviewed. All interviews will be in English only (must be fluent) Some of your responsibilities will be : Carrying out preprocessing of structured and unstructured data Enhancing data collection procedures to include all relevant information for developing analytic systems Processing, cleansing, and validating the integrity of data to be used for analysis Analyzing large amounts of information to find patterns and solutions Developing prediction systems and machine learning algorithms Using machine learning tools to select features, create and optimize classifiers Propose solutions and strategies to tackle business challenges Collaborate with Business and IT teams Presenting results in a clear manner Requirements: Should have 6 to 8 years of experience in Architecture, Design, Coding, Analyzing and data science. Robust understanding and knowledge of statistics and data analysis concepts Strong math skills especially in Calculus, Linear Algebra, Probability & Statistics Detailed knowledge of database, data analytics and visualization tools Strong coding skills in SQL Knowledge of using machine learning workflow/toolkits i.e. Kubeflow and analytics engine i.e. Spark is a plus Familiarity with other data analytics tools, data frameworks (e.g. Hadoop) is an asset Knowledge of Python will be a plus Strong Communication Skills and Client Relationship management Benefits: None ("PJ" contract).
