Maize Molecular Breeder (M/F)

- In close collaboration with your manager, define the objectives of molecular breeding activities and the corresponding research projects.- As an expert in molecular breeding, advise breeders in carrying out their analyses and setting up new projects, and support breeding teams in implementing and using genomic selection methods.- Carry out studies and statistical analyses to support the optimization of selection schemes- Promote innovation and develop and implement new methodologies in line with the needs expressed by breeders- Maintain a scientific watch on tools and methods- Participate in the scientific leadership of the maize community on subjects related to molecular breeding, to promote best practices and facilitate the emergence of innovative methods.
