Primary Responsibilities:
Strategic Alignment and Insights Management to enable Global Clinical Operations:
Support successful delivery of strategic objectives across GCO through effective stakeholder alignment and change management.
Ensure GCO has access to robust, reliable, accurate, and meaningful data/metrics/information required to make informed business decisions.
Create and evolve data solutions and reports based on the GCO needs.
Collaborate across functions to ensure delivery of objectives/projects to drive shared business goals, resolve issues and optimize opportunities.
Partner with and influence the Delivery Units (DUs) to ensure GCO needs are understood and aligned with overarching GD metrics/data, etc.
Provide support, as directed, in the advancement of GCO's planning and strategy development.
Drive standardization and strategy in Business Operations and Country Operations:
Support BOPs and GCO Business Management team to ensure GCO is consistently managing metrics throughout the organization.
Establish uniform reporting processes, ensuring regular reviews, and clear expectations across all levels.
Utilize project management tools and methodologies to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Insights and Initiatives:
Enhance our business-oriented analysis of performance metrics by focusing on risk identification, workload planning, and strategic resource and demand management to support and optimize portfolio and country decisions and delivery.
Supply GCO Leadership with pre-analyzed data that includes relevant insights and contextual information gathered from regions and countries, streamlining processes, and accelerating decision-making.
Identify trends and patterns, benchmark performance against industry standards, and recommend potential actions for issue mitigation.
Deliver a comprehensive understanding of GCO performance during Functional Review Meetings and provide input for ad-hoc requests and tasks.
Assist GCO's Non-Drug Project Initiatives, including governance, tracking, and visualization.
Prioritize the automation of data collection to enhance efficiency and accuracy in metric analysis.
Create training materials to promote consistency and train GCO colleagues, as necessary.
Manage and support intelligent automation solutions to enhance efficiency, productivity, and accuracy, by collaborating with stakeholders across GCO and other Global Development functions.
Aid in the implementation of new systems, processes, tools, and AI-driven automation solutions as needed.
Communications:
Contribute to design and content development of communications in line with the GCO Communication Strategy.
Facilitate stakeholder engagement and communication to ensure understanding and support for change initiatives.
Oversee Business Management shared mailbox; triage questions and cascade information to others in GCO/GD, as appropriate.
Ability to create presentations and content tailored to the appropriate audience, ensuring clarity and relevance in communication.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's Degree required
Master's degree in life sciences, statistics, or data sciences preferred
Required:
6+ years of experience in clinical operations either in a direct or supporting/consulting function
Experience in managing and integrating complex, cross-functional information
Analytical mindset - comfortable working with joining and analyzing data
Ability to create presentations and content tailored to the senior leadership teams, ensuring clarity and relevance in communication.
Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, possess strong communication skills (both written and verbal), and operate with a high sense of urgency
Ability to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, and achieve results in a fast-paced environment
Ability to build relationships, influence, and drive organizational engagement
Understanding of a business matrix organization
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and operate with poise and professionalism in a complex, high-profile, and rapidly changing environment
Up to 10% travel – Domestic & International
The anticipated base pay range for this position in the US is $115,000 to $197,800.
