**JOB SUMMARY**:
The _Manager, Data and Business Intelligence _will lead the team working with data analytics, business intelligence, and ERP processes to drive data-informed decision-making and the optimize ERP system across the organization. This role is responsible for overseeing the collection, management, and analysis of data, as well as the development and implementation of BI solutions and ERP processes, with a focus on Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS).
The role ensures the team delivers high-quality, actionable insights that drive business performance improvements across the organization.
The role collaborates closely with the corporate IT and Enterprise Solutions teams.
**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of business intelligence analysts/specialist, data analysts, data engineers, BI developers, and ERP specialists.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide continuous feedback and coaching.
Data Management:
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data warehousing solutions.
- Ensure data integrity, quality, and security across all data sources.
- Implement data governance practices and standards.
Business Intelligence:
- Develop and implement BI strategies and solutions that align with business goals.
- Create and manage dashboards, reports, and visualizations to provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with business units to understand their data needs and deliver tailored solutions.
ERP Management:
- Oversee the optimization and management of ERP processes, focusing on Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS).
- Ensure ERP system alignment with business processes and requirements.
- Manage ERP upgrades, configurations, and integrations with other systems.
Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for data, BI, and ERP initiatives.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data analytics, BI, and ERP technologies.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and provide data-driven and ERP solutions.
- Communicate complex data and ERP concepts and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for data, BI, and ERP-related inquiries.
**Required Skills and Experience**:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as data science, statistics, or computer science
- Solid experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field
- People management experience, including leading and developing a team
- Strong technical skills in data extraction, transformation, and analysis using tools like SQL, Python, Tableau, PowerBI etc.
- Expertise in data warehouse management and ERP system integration
- Excellent business acumen and ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills to effectively share insights
- Proven track record of driving business impact through data-driven initiatives
- Experience with data governance, data quality, and data security best practices
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including IT and Enterprise Solutions
**Availability for primarily on-site work at Porto do Açu (São João da Barra, RJ), with the possibility of occasional remote work.
